There was a brief time whne there were XX films, but many stag film makers wanted the ultimate of XXX (anything more does look silly, and we play on the Power of Threes)

Cause it makes it more classy to have XXX or X. Too bad they got rid of the X rating for NC-17.

most porn movies are rated triple x. it is just a way to express how ranchy the movies are. instead of x rated movies, now they are referrence as UR not rated movies and those are not allow to see unless your older than 18

I don't really know. What I do know however, is that you won't get the 'full monty' on any movies you purchase with these ratings (they must be rated 'R') which is pretty misleading I reckon!
