I know some of you on this forum are sick of reading about him, but a lot of you aren't...
I got the Oprah Winfrey's 20 years dvd collection from the library and there's a clip of an interview she did with Johnny Depp from 2004. Let me just say that he is not only an incredible actor, but also an incredible person. He was so calm and polite. He was very humble. He said such wonderful things about his family. I, as well as the studio audience, were just in awe. He has such a natural beauty about him. I admire him more than ever before. What a great example of how some of these wild Hollywood stars should behave.

He sure is! Very very talented and I also like the fact that he takes on challenging and unusual (unsafe) roles. What a courageous actor! Yes, more actors should remember how lucky they are to be successful - all of that arrogance is sickening. If it wasn;t for their fans, they'd be flipping burgers. There are so many talented people (and beautiful ones too!) in Hollywood/New York.Notice that most of the big stars in the past had class and appreciated their good fortune.

Yes, Johnny Depp is amazing. I've seen him do an interview or two and he is so down to earth you just want to call him up and say Hi. Johnny Depp is probably the most "normal" person there is in Hollywood. Yeah, he has his eccentricities but don't we all. He's obviously a very loving and caring man. I've been in love with him since he was on 21 Jumpstreet, so I consider myself a true Johnny Depp fan!

I totally agree with you!! He is a fantastic example of how actors should be! I wish most of them would just shut up and quit doing stupid things that I have to hear about on legitimate news sources. I get so angry when CNN is covering Britneys new baby.... But, JD is reserved and just wants to be an actor--not a star, there is a big difference!

I observed it today. i like Johnny Depp, in spite of if i presumed he extremely overacted the area this time and grew to become into very almost in simple terms goofy in it. And the action picture grew to become into 3 hours long...too long. super specific outcomes although. I f you have an IMAX theater on your city, see it there

i love him he's like the best actor in the whole world.. did anyone know that he was in a music band?? yeah! he wasnt planing to b an actor! he was planning to b a member of a music band!!!! and who introduced him to the movie career? nicolas cage!!!! he's a very loving father and he loves his gf vanessa paradis .. and guess what? his daughter really believes he's a pirate!! It's good to admire an actor but not idolize him there are a bunch of people that are very nice and are not famous. By the way, I do think he's amazing.See his new movie "Libertine"
