This is just my opinion. With all the talks about nukes, I've heard the Iranian president talk on one of his interviews here in America and he seems to be a smart guy, and I don't see him as a bad guy. With all this talks about him being evil, I just don't see a threat in him. IF HE HAD WANTED TO NUKE A COUNTRY, HE WOULD HAVE DONE IT ALREADY.
And one more thing, who has done more damage or changes in this world in the last couple of years? Bush or the Iranian president?

Iran is not a bad country. They are following the beliefs and culture they have been for years. How would we feel if they came over here and threatened war because we have nucks....we can have them and noone else can...how democratic is that...i mean that is why we go to these stupid wars to create a democracy and change the views of people who have lived a certain way for their whole lives.

Out of all the Islamic nations, I think Iran contains the most reasonable people. However, I think the Iranian Government presents a real threat to the world. I fear for what will happen to ordinary Iranian citizens if Israel or the USA decide to attack Iran. I wish the Iranian Government could somehow be overthrown and a more moderate one installed. Whatever happens, I don't think Iran should be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon or we'll all pay the price.

I don't think we can define a country, or it's people, by it's leaders. I can't speak to good or bad, really. They do have their share of conflicts, and hate, but what we see on TV is not an adequate cross-section of the population to define a country as good or bad. By country , do you mean the president or the government in general, the terrain, or the average inhabitant?
President Ahmadinejad is a politician, and a young one at that. He probably has the JFK charisma among his people. but, first and foremost, he is a politician. Judge him by his fruits, not by his rhetoric. It's like in basketball. When you are guarding the man with the ball, focus on the ball, not the player. The player is better able to fake you out.
He has not kept his promises of economic progress to his people, he has shown little respect for international opinion, and he has expressed no displeasure for the "Death to America" chants ringing in mosques throughout the Republic of Iran. Beside, he is not the supreme leader of his country. That post belongs to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Ahmadinejad is the obedient, youthful, pleasant-looking, double-speaking front man.
The art of politics is the same wherever you go.

Well, this whole "good/bad" country thing is based solely on personal (or national) perspective. There are many places in the world that think the USA is a "bad" country because, for example, we have capital punishment (which is pretty barbaric, when you think about it). There can be evil people as leaders, but our President tends to throw that word around to describe anyone who doesn't agree with him. So, is Iran a "bad" country? Depends who you ask and how you define "bad."

The man says he wants to destroy Israel and the U.S. so YES he is bad..... don't think for a second that if he could press a button and kill over 300 million people he wouldn't do it. By the way, this "nice guy" recently outlawed all music. He pulled all teachers out of the schools who do not agree with him.... and he belongs to a extreme view of Islam which won't let women even leave there house or learn basic math etc. I cannot believe how many people can even suggest Bush is like that..... Read some history books, please! p.s. "sleeping cutie".... yeah we "invade" other countries...and the police invade the homes of drug dealers and serial rapists etc. How does our picking fights with dictators and killers make us a bad country??
