For example, Invasion was such a suspenceful show and now it looks as if it's not coming back on this year. Even television is getting greedy. Now to find out how the show ends you have to go out and by the DVD. I don't think that's right.

S*cks doesn't it. Invasion's on my list to along with Tru Calling, Firefly, Point Pleasant, Wonderfalls. At least with Firefly they made the movie Serenity to give it an ending. I'm hoping ABC will do the same for Invasion. I want to see what Larkin's gonna be like when she comes back. The DVD's don't give you an ending either. I just watched them a week ago.

Because most network executives, while thinking of themselves as being hip and progressive, are exceedingly out of touch with what the general public actually enjoy watching.
Look at the way they spoiled Twin Peaks. They just slowly took over Lynch's creative control of the show and ruined it.
The same thing happened with the Chappelle Show.

Ratings matter a lot to TV executives, because they sell advertisement to big companies and if the show doesn't have good ratings, they can't sell at better prices.
