I meet a guy 2 mths ago He basically tells me what i want 2 hear.He's very cute(2 ME) & I dont know if im overreacting because i feel like he could do better than me 1ST of all he works nights (OR SO HE SAYS) He doesn't call (ONLY ON TUES. & THURS) & when i call he never answers. He says we r going out & then he will either call me but not mention anything about going out & when i ask him he says oh i have to work but u understand! or he just wont call or show up @ ALL!!! SAT.he did this so I waited 30MIN no show I called & he said he was on his way(wasn't) so i said dont even bother & dont call me, so he hasnt! hes very popular in our city so I figure if he had someone else he would avoid the area & he wouldnt take me 2 his house & moms house. He has 3 kids(teens) and has only been in long relat. Hes a good person but hes controling u know,he can do whatever he wants but i cant & he keeps asking me if im seeing some 1 else? all he ever says 2 me is "I'M A FLAKE" thats his excuse

He is the big man around town and he knows it and loves it. You are his little play thing and he knows he can control you and your every move. Why are you allowing him to control you? Work on your own self-esteem and get out of this relationship. He has no intention of settling down with anyone. There are other men out there who won't use you, believe me.

Usually when a guy keeps asking you if you are seeing someone else, it's because thats what he is doing. There is definately a red flag here! Go with your gut feeling on this one...and nothing else. If you think theres something up, then usually there is. Good Luck. You will find the right one for you, and you will know it when it happens.

ooh girl I'm sorry I know how that feels. And I'm sure his mom is sweet to you too. Right? It could be both but I'm like you confused and in love yet hanging on to the jerk..He needs to open his eyes and appreciate you!!!! Or find some one that will. Girl, I know easier said than done. Do what ever you have too to keep you happy and try not to be so insecure. He saw something in you and so will other guys if he don't straighten out. So keep your head up..Don't let him make you feel bad, once again yeah easier said than done.. I know, I'm like you!! LOL . Good luck and hang in there.

Dump him while you can and RUN! Don't subject yourself to things you can change! Maya Angelou says "when a person shows you who they are, believe them!" He right out said he is a flake. Trust that is who he is and find a new honey without all the baggage. I think he is seeing other people if not his ex-wife. When a "single" man comes with so many restrictions, he is definitely attached.

Sounds like romeo is married to me. Or at least in a commited realationship. Sounds sneaky too. If you're putting out, that might be all he wants you for. Move on girlfriend, stay away from the sneaky ones!

He is not a flake. He is a loser. As far as you, get some counseling to build better self esteem. You should be able to view yourself as the best, and let your boyfriends know that you expect to be treated as such. Not in a demanding way, but as a proud woman who knows she is worthy and valuable.

Even if you knew for sure he was NOT cheating, his actions show that he is too busy to have a realtionship right now if he is no-showing and you can barely get ahold of him during the week.
I'd search elsewhere.

I am not trying to be ugly, but you are a dumb a$$ if you put up with this crap from this guy. Next time he asks if you are seeing someone else, tell him yes...why? Because you should be seeing someone else...Someone that makes you a priority and someone that treats you right...

u need to get out this relationship before it goes any futher and u end up gettin really hurt over some a*sh*e dat aint worth ur tears. so u need to forget him n go out n find someone who really is worth ur tears but tears of happiness not heart ache

i think i would check out his background as far as other women are concerned. see if they had the same problem . if so, theni would find someone else.it sounds to me like hes got several girl friends
