It generally isn't the population base that hates us but the dictators and extremist of the country that fear losing their power to democracy.

Now there is a fourth world uh? I did not know that, when it was discovered. I should've been asleep when it happened.

Well, I personally don't hate people from the US at all. However I don't know in what number of the world I live in according to your classification.

I'm form Mexico and some say it is a developing process country, some say third and now I don't know if we fit in your forth world classification.

It is true that many people hate people form the US, but not only from the third or fourth or fifth or whatever world you are talking about (I believe there is only one world we are living in by the way), people from Europe for example and basically I think it is because many people from your country (I'm not saying all) are arrogant and feel that only because they were born in the US that gives them some kind of advantage or special gift. Some many others hate people from the US because they see the US as an oppressor, interventionist and terrorist country among many other things.

I hope I have answered your question in the most respectful, objective and honest way.

Regards

Often times countries like the U.S. take advantage of less developed nations, especially when it comes to cheap labor. They don't like that about the US. Unfortunately they allow it to happen especially with these free trade agreements amongst nations that are not economically equal.

Third world countries are capable of becoming better off if they make some changes to the government and with a little help from nations like the U.S. On the other hand, 4th world countries are not capable of improving on their own, they need massive amounts of help. So they probably resent us for not giving them more aid.

It is human nature to be jealous or envious of others who are better off than yourself so that may be another reason.

Because of the way the USA views them. They don't see themselves as 3rd and 4th world countries, they consider themselves as developing or emerging countries. That subtle difference separates contempt and respect. They aspire but know it will be many years before they eradicate poverty, famine and disease so they look on with envy. That envy is then taken by power hungry ambitious politicians (who are probably also corrupt) and moulded into the cause of the said politicians. It's they who create the anger, frustration and eventually hatred.

Here's an answer from a 3rd worlder. Hate is non-productive. Should any person begin to hate (and hang on to it) no good can ever come of it.

Hate = war = death = suffering.

Let us not forget that in our generation, we have the capability to annihilate mankind.

Let's move on, stop judging and pigeon-holing one another. RISE ABOVE hate...haven't we all been through enough?

It's not complicated when you are No 1 people either admire and try to emulate you or they hate you usually the latter. Since most people in the rest of the world are not No 1 or even listed on the scoreboard they resent us, even though the majority of them would like to come here, just look at the millions who are trying to get into this country. another ex if you like sports look at the NY Yankees a lot of people hate them why? because they are successful.

Well a lot of people woould say they are jealous but I don't think it is that. I believe its because the USA thinks that we are bigger and better than everyone else in the world we think that we have got the bigger army's and the more high tech bombs it is ridiculous we think that were the best but you know what they day those terrist attacked us was a smack in the face and even after that we still have the same attitude

Because in most of that countrys they have freedom. And the people in USA dont like that, they should be very poor, very miserable, very ignorant, like the people here (only here some people have more money).

Jealosy?, sure, keep thinking that.

Their leaders tell them to, tell them that we're the cause of the misery that the incompetent and corrupt leadership creates.
They have to believe, they have no source of information from outside, whatever their Big Brother says.
Often, not believing in public can get a spear in the gut for your trouble. Well, maybe a bullet nowadays.
