AAWWWWWW I think it is SOOOOOO sad, but at least he died doing what he loved, he lived a great life and set an example for all reptile lovers, I loved his work, and will miss him, he was an awsome person, bye

Apparently Russel Crowe wants to star in a Steve Irwin biopic... I think it's kinda cool, they were really close, and I may be insane but I always thought they looked somewhat alike.

He was kind of kooky but I always thought he knew what he was talking about so I had a lot of respect for him. I think he influenced a lot of people to help conservation causes that would have otherwise never cared. He did a lot of good.

I have enjoyed watching Steve and his family along the years and he will be greatly missed. My prayers will be with his wife and beautiful children.

I too am very sad and mourn the l oss of such a great crusader for animals . His family is in my thoughts and prayers.

the memorial was very nice. i cried and cried. my condolences go out to the austrailian zoo and the irwin family. i'm waiting for the interview with terri and barbara walters.
