Yeah a lubricant could interefere. But not so that you should consider using it as birth control!
Are you doing things like taking your temp? Look on the web for fertility info - your temp drops just prior to ovulation so you should time sex for then. There are also kits available that tell you when you are most fertile.
A couple of other things that can help the process - just prior to intercourse during your fertile time, use a mild baking soda douche and DO NOT use the lubricant. The baking soda creates a more conducive environment to the sperm, who survive better in a slightly alkaline environment rather than an acid environment. Also, make sure your partner has been wearing looser clothes, etc.
Good luck!

I don't know about the lubricant but when I tried to get pregnant and couldn't, I made my husband have sex every single night of the month, so as not to miss my ovulation time, and it worked for me, both times. I know it becomes a pain in the butt after a while, but if you want to get pregnant, you gotta do it and NOT miss one night.

You shouldn't use a lubricant while trying to get pregnant. It can kill or slow down your partner's sperm. If your body do not naturally make enough lubricant then you should consult your doctor. He/she may have a few tips. Good Luck

Take a Folic Acid Vitamin Supplement 400mcg a day. You can get this at any grocery store. This method is doctor approved. Continue taking until you have conceived
If you and your partner BOTH have orgasms this increases the chances of conceiving. It opens your cervix and allows the sperm to swim easier. Try to have yours before he has his. This will help. TRUST ME!
I USED LUBRICANT AND I WAS ON BIRTH CONTROL AND I'M SITTING HERE 8 MONTHS PREGNANT.

To conceive you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.
After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. Tell your husband to ejaculate on his inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.
After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up with a pillow under your buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.
Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 3 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.

You know I tried for over a year with NO lube with my ex and I couldnt get pregnant. I tried everything. BBT and charting still no luck. Within 2 weeks of getting married to my husband (a different man) I ended up pregnant! No charting no nothing and yes we use lube all the time. Lube had no effect on us... but thats us.

Listen I have a friend who has been trying to conceive for way longer and is so down at the moment. The one thing she is happy with is that she knows when the time is right it will happen. I wish you all the luck.
