I believe in choosing to conceive, not oops! I'm pregnant. I believe in choosing the father of my children carefully. I believe in having a child know it's father and the father know his child by the crooked toe, or cowlick or whatever other flaw we can cherish and embrace.

In some situations I believe in a dna test, there are a lot of stupid guys out there that know it's their baby but they act stupid and say it's not. DNA helps to prove it. At the same time I don't think it's right when we the mothers know who the father is and have to go through all of that because of the girls who are lying about it.

Yes I believe in DNA testing and if you are in doubt that there might be some other guy that is the father than it's your job to make sure that your child knows who their real father is not the one the mother thinks or wants to be the father.

To me, there is a need for it in many situations. For example, I was with a guy who cheated on his fiance with me. After she found out he denied everything. For a while, I did think I was pregnant. If I had of been he would have denied the baby was his and I would have a a DNA test done to prove that the baby was his. So in some cases there is a need for it. Now if you are just wanting to know and you are doing fine without the father, don't worry until the child is older and makes the decision themself. I hope I have helped you. Good luck with whatever you are dealing with.

Sure, DNA testing is one of the best things to happen to law enforcement in a long time. Get tested, you and your child should know who the father is. He also needs to know he is the father of a child. He may want to be a part of the baby's life, and if not, he should still help support him/her. The dept. of social services can make him pay child support if he refuses.

Yes, yes I do believe in DNA testing. If a man is denying his responsibility for a child claiming it's not his, that is often the only avenue that the mother can take. Plus, Maury's show would have been off years ago had DNA testing not become accessible...

dna testing will for sure tell you who the father is. Alot of the specialist who do this will put there jobs on the line to prove the right father. But this means you have to have all your partners tested.

I think it can be helpful but if there is a close bond like brothers who may both be possibilities then it may be difficult to know for sure who is the parent. However, if that is the case then they can do more specific tests and know for sure. It does work though we are all made up of our own DNA. that's hold more personal info than the finger print.

Yes, I believe in DNA testing. I never had to have one done for my kids but, after a month of dating my boyfriend, father of my baby girl due in a couple of months, there was a girl he slept with one time 3 months before dating me, she said that she was pregnant with his child, It was hell for myself and him, she was always saying smart things to us and running her mouth to any one that my man was the father of her soon to come baby and long story short thank GOD, for DNA, the baby wasn't his.

I wasn't aware it was a controversial subject...
I don't see anything wrong in testing to find out who the father of a child is. Is there something some people believe is wrong about it?
