The question as stated is meaningless: you are trying to compare area and volume. A barrel of oil is 42 gallons; a gallon is 231 cubic inches; get out your calculator and start punching.

A standard oil barrel is actually 42 U.S. gallons, or about 159 L.

So that would mean your 4 trillion barrels is 636 trillion liters.

One cubic mile is equal to 4,168,181,830,000 liters.

So that would mean that 636 trillion liters is 152.6 cubic miles.

Not so much, on the grand scheme of things.

200 trillion gallons is about 181.6 cubic miles.

If you use 4 trillion barrels US petroleum, it's 152.57 cubic miles.
