i live in the suburbs of Baltimore, Maryland and there are so many people that i see that will walk or run in the streets instead of walking or running on the sidewalks that are only 1-2 feet away. what the hell sense does that make. do you just want to get hit??

some people are just very, very stupid. why would you walk on a road with peope driving at anywhere from 30-55 mph and you want to walk on the road. that makes no sense whatsoever but then again like a firend always said COMMON SENSE ISN'T COMMON and that is so true.

The way people drive these days it's not even safe to use the sidewalks ! But I would guess it's safer than the street.

Most streets in the suburbs are made of asphalt/macadam which is slightly more resilient than the concrete of sidewalks. They run there to help save their feet, knees, etc.

Yes, I use side walks. I like to skip over the cracks as to not break my mothers back........ Ok. I'm sooooo lame. Anyway, people who walk in the street are risk takers. A speeder could easily hit them, I say call the cops that's J-walking!

Yes, I use side- walks, don't want to get hit by walking in the street that's just asking for it. lol
