First, why do they pronounce it the way they do with a long "i" instead of like "Funky Cold Medina"?

Second, tell me some fun things to do in the area please. Why is Medina a great community in your opinion?

They don't want to make people in Lima (pronouned LIME-ah), OH feel awkward.

Fun things? Movies, the mall, billiards bar, lake, and in winter, snowshoeing. Oh, and ya gotta try the burgers - ask anywhere!

There is a rollarskating place in Medina, which is what I did the last time I was there. Also there are a lot of cheaper stores to shop at out there. Drive to Akron or Cleveland for museums, zoos and stuff. There is skiing in Cuyahoga Falls. Lots of parks in the area for camping, hiking, rock climbing etc.
