I am helping my husband send off an application through the mail, and noticed on a reason for leaving box he put " did not meet monthly quota of repaired items." there is no contact number or supervisor, so should he put that he did not meet qutoa? what should he write?the job he is applying for is a state job with EDD rep.

HE WAS LET GO, AND THERE ISNT A BOX FOR A CONTACT NUBER FOR THE EMPLOYER, ONLY SUPERVISOR NAME.

He shouldn't lie, but if he wasn't technically fired, he should write something like "seeking better opportunities".

Places do not call previous employers until after they interview a person, and they are not going to interview a person who says that they lost their last job for not working hard enough. Use HR lingo, seeking better opportunites or somthing like that. Don't lie, but perhaps soften the truth.

He should put "unproffesional atmosphere". It sounds alot better. And I would definately put a contact phone number since he is applying for a state job they can be kind of sticky about those things.

Did he leave that job for a better on. If that is the case, i would put that i left for better qualfied position.
