I teach an art class for kindergardeners every week and I found a great, non-scary picture for Halloween with the moon and two pumpkins. Most of "my" kids speak Spanish and so I wanted to emphasize La Luna-- but I am stuck.

Any creative ideas?

Maybe they could put jack-o-lantern faces on the moon. Maybe construction paper cut outs of trees and a few pumpkins and the moon then have then Halloween the picture up so they will only create what they are comfortable with and it will be interesting to see the different interpretations

A dark, dark blue background or black, with either long faint-white chalk lines to represent dissipating clouds (or if the background is black, then use blue chalk for the long streaming clouds), with a huge round yellow moon, smiling and seemingly say "Oooooooo...", a wooden fence, with a screeching cat with his back hairs on end (tail up, in frightened pose), with a medium size Jack 'o' lantern laughing at the bottom left side in front of the wooden fence.
