basically,does sound from inside can be heard inside by any chance?

Sound proof walls are made up of layers which vacuum between them. Sound need a medium to travel and when the sound waves encounter vacuum, they cannot move further.

Sound proofed walls have air spaces between them allowing the sound to vibrate and disipate as it bounces off of each layer and air space.
