When was your last period? You have to wait until about 10 days before your next scheduled period. The pregnency test can not detect the hormone right away. This is why you have to wait. I would use a home test and if it is negative and you have not started your period for over a month, then I would go with a doctors test. Best Wishes and Good Luck!

most doctors offices wont check you for pregnancy until your late but I believe E.P.T. can detect like a week before your suppose to start my sister-n-law was only 3 weeks pregnant & her E.P.T. showed positive , but if you take it & it shows negative wait until your missed period & check again but my doc told me the best time to check is first thing in the morning that urine has the most hormones in it good luck

You can do and EPT but they are not 100% and you need to wait 2-4 weeks and then some never show on a urine test you may need a blood test

i would go to the doctor a blood test is more accurate than urine your hcg hormones show up better by blood work home tests dont usually show until your 4-6 weeks along a blood test youll know at about 1 week

Wait until after you miss your period and take the test again. In the meantime, take care of yourself and don't drink. You may be pregnant and you don't want to dammage your baby.

well I would suggest to miss your period first. But some tests say they will work up to five days BEFORE your missed period.
