Not really - the spiritual impulse is present in every human being, whether or not that person has an organized outlet for it - perhaps this category serves as their spiritual connection.

it is genuine. If human beings do not agree or have faith in a undeniable issues why would desire to they waste their time on some thing they see as pointless? Or in the event that they at the instant are not being impolite and so on.. they are in all risk finding for an answer to their questions approximately god and faith. You in no way incredibly understand what is going by way of all people's concepts.

I often confuse the Religion & Spirituality category with Jokes & Riddles.
I also like to challenge religious people with questions they can't answer. It measures the depth of their knowledge (or, more often than not, their lack of knowledge) about their religion. I also like to point out that religion is a crutch for weak minded people.

yup. I call it the I have to keep telling myself I dont believe in GOD complex
I don't care if someone believes or not, but why spend so much time in a section you don't believe in ?
I stopped going to that section, it's like talking to a brick wall. I try to see all sides, atheist do not
cara stop your dam whining. NO ONE pushes anything down your throat, thats your little whiney claim. I have never and NONE of my christian freinds have ever done that. MOST christians are just trying to live their life, only a few nut jobs are trying to tell you what to do.
PS to those are telling the poster not to generalize,
why is everyone call her out on generalizing when another person called her a bible thumper for asking this question, isnt that generalizing too ? =)

i've thought that as well, and i also find it interesting that the desire to squash any other view point other than their own is so intense, almost with violent tendencies. i also get the feeling that a lot of kids go into that category and spout off about atheism like they think it's a trendy thing to do...when they aren't informed and don't know what they are talking about. BORING...need a mature audience only site here.

I don't. I actually don't even answer any of those questions. I don't think it's worth my time to sit there and argue about all that. The only reason I'm answering this one is because you have made such a horrible generalization.

Nope! I've never been there! Not even once! PS-Stereotyping is NOT the move! Try to be a little more tolerant. This is America, where we have freedom of religion. That's what makes our country great!

What I find ironic is how so many bible thumpers like you take it upon yourselves to push your religion onto everyone who doesn't want it. Stop picking on the athiests. Stop picking on everyone who is different from you and just learn to accept other people for who they are, not what they believe. Grow up.
Well you are quick to make broad generalizations about people that you know nothing about.

Yeah!!! They use evolution as an excuse for their apeish behavior. Obviously they are insecure about what they truly believe because they have to go into the Religion rooms all the time. Pray that the Lord will bring them to their knees. Or wait, in their minds, back to them.
