Because they obviously do not understand economics. Even JFK understood tax cuts generated revenue.

Democrats are tax-and spend.
Republicans are cut-taxes-and-spend-more.
Which is more fiscally irresponsible? Raising taxes and providing more services (like firefighters/police/teachers) or cutting taxes on the wealthy and hemorrhaging billions of dollars in useless pork? Get a clue, Wayne.
Your wonderful conservative administration has saddled the US taxpayer with more debt than the last 3 liberals COMBINED. How are we going to pay off that debt? By cutting taxes? Open mouth, insert foot.

I have a better question: Why is it that in past wars, the government had no problem raising taxes, because they knew that the war was justified but Bush is opposed to raising taxes while his unjustified war drains our economy and diverts money away from social programs that are needed?

I want to lower taxes and cut government spending and jobs .At least 50% of government should go away in 5 years .and so should 50% of the taxes ..
Chew on that for a minute and get back to me .

They don't. This question is silly. Do you think that they think the solution to ending the war in Iraq is to raise taxes? Ask a better question.

Why do reps think that solution for everything is to increase spending and give tax breaks to the wealthiest 1% of Americans?

I'm definitely not in the top 1% of income earners and I got a huge tax break. So stop the BS line that only the rich got a tax break.
Democrats need a way to fund all their "help me because I can't help myself" programs.
Spending is one of the two things Bush got wrong.
