Some people have the usual parties. But my friends more often than not have the standard dinner at an expensive restaurant on the earliest convenient Fri, Sat, or Sun. It's rarely ever held on the actual birthday. Me, I prefer to spend in alone watching TV by myself. I hate birthdays and getting older.

Anything I can to change the subject like going out alone helps but I have never been able to shake "them" for long. I usually have to have some cake and eat it too! I don't get older just finer like my wine. I do look forward to the cake someone else bakes it and everything! Woohoo

I never do the same thing twice. My family is always wanting to throw me a party... and it always is a mess. So I tend to just go with the flow.
This year? I plan on doing absolutely nothing. Right now that sounds like a great plan! Or maybe I'll throw myself a great big party?!!! We'll see....

Go to the North Shore of Lake Superior for the day and wade in the water, hike, find interesting rocks and agates.

Honestly because I have a very busy live I look for a pleasant place to rest, far from wife, kids, family, etc. Like that I can have a chance to think on me and to prepare my self for the following year. Isn't that I don't love them, is that I love my self too.

I celebrate for an entire month. Lots of nights out, dinners and lunches at nice restaurants, maybe a trip. Loads of time with friends.

Well i hollow out an artichoke and i put it on my head as i dance around a mound of cheese that was left in my closet from my cousin billybob when he stayed over the one night after his big sleep over with the twins bill and till who are joined at the hip.

Besides getting a year older, I just treat it has another day. Bc my bday is 2 days b4 christmas, soo not much to be excited about.

Hello; Well if it's on a weekday,I will take that day off,and I tell them why!Then I may sleep in,and I always have a few drinks of tequila,Then do whatever my little old heart whats to do.Concert,Party,Whatever!
