But we can't forget other important things : fashion , violence , crime , culture , languages , relations between peoples of the world , etc .

Movies have only been around for a little over a century. Considering the world made it to 1900 without movies, it probably would have done just fine through 2006.

Movies are just a way to tell a story. We are a life form that likes stories. Happy stories, even sad ones. We like made up stories and true one also. With out movies we would probably still sit around the fire and tell each other stories. Maybe our world would be a little better. We would have better family time.
