Well, when you are honest on here and give a damn about what you say, you're normally labeled as something (do gooder, b*tch, spawn of satan, etc.).... People just get jealous because you know how to formulate an answer and type it up for someone, instead of just using one dumb uninformative sentence that doesn't tell who you're trying to help/give an opinion to anything... It's Yahoo! Answers... There's no intelligence level test to get in, so there's going to be simpleminded people who have to label everything they are jealous of or don't understand...

It depends how you answer them. You could be a do gooder, or you could answe with garbage instead of help. That would make you a mischevious brat.
But based on your answer, I'd say you were the earlier type. If you do good, you may be called a do gooder.. whats wrong with that? Would you prefer to be a mischevious brat? If someone calls you a do gooder, say thanks! :-)

Many people who answer are not looking to answer a question but increase their ratings. Consequently, earnest answerers challenge the philosophy they live by and because of the medium, the only form of negative retaliation they can provide is negative name calling or labeling.
Remember, to thy own self be true. A fellow person can ask you to change but it is up to you to decide too.

Because some people have no life, & haven't the brain power to do anything in life so they have no experience to gather from.
They go away eventually...

never mind what they say, just do as you see fit. there'll always be troublemakers out there so don't take what they say too seriously.
there, being a do gooder isn't that bad is it?

I have answered questions and never been labeled a "do gooder". Maybe it is you, maybe you ARE a "do gooder".

Some may feel that you are showboating (when you are not) or being priggy (when you are not).
perception is such a monster.
