Why do the networks have to put all the shows I want to watch on at the same time, thursday at 8pm I wanted to watch 4 things, but monday and tuesday ther is absolutely nothing I want to see, can't they break things up a bit
No I don't have Tivo and only one VCR so that only helped so much.

I had the same problem last night. I had to sacrifice 2 shows.

All I can say is that most cable companies offer a dvr for only $9, you might want to think about investing in that. You are right, Thursday is the best night for tv now especially if you watch Greys and CSI and ER. It was a good night of premiers so maybe you can watch some of them on the computer at the NBC or CBS website

Networks are competing against each other. So if one puts their best lineup on a certain day like Thursday, all other networks follow suit since they don't want to lose their viewers to their rival networks.
