Well, a little more detail here might help direct the answers better, but if you are in high school with this problem there are options available to you: such as speaking with your teachers or guidance counselor. It may be that you just have too many classes that have heavy requirements and may need to drop one or two and take them during summer school. If you are in college with this problem, again I think it would be wise to drop a class and take it during summer school (which is usually cheaper anyways, and you can even take some classes at community colleges at a reduced rate).

Whatever it is that you decide to do don't stress out too much about it. I have been through 17 years of schooling and I still have four more, and have always been a worrier. But looking back, I see that if I would have listened to the advice of my family and friends more, it wouldn't have been as hard.

Just take a deep breath and if you are religious pray, or if you're not take a few minutes and think of something relaxing.

If you cannot drop classes, then try allocating specific amounts of time to each activity and moving on even if you're not finished, and make sure to allocate enough time for sleep. If you pull too many all-nighters, your days will be completely unproductive and the problem will just compound itself.

And remember, this too shall pass.

All-nighters are counter-productive, because it takes your tired mind longer to comprehend things. Try going to bed at a reasonable hour, then getting up earlier to do the last of your homework.

When you come home from school, give yourself about an hour to chill out before you start your homework. Do NOT wait until the last minute to do reports, essays, read book assignments, etc. because once you get behind, then you're constantly playing catch-up.

Get rid of all the distractions when it's homework time i.e., turn off the TV. Prioritize your workload. Do the harder stuff first since it takes the most time and energy.

Good luck!

The two most useful things for me in this area are being able to read very quickly and being able to touch-type. You probably can't do anything about the speed at which you read (I just read quickly and have no idea why) but you can learn to touch-type. Being able to write down my thoughts at the speed at which I think them means I get my homework done much more quickly!

Also things like having everything set out before you get started and making sure you aren't distracted while doing your homework help.

I understand you so much. Just yesterday caught myself thinking that I am doing so little of what I plan. I mean, I am not studying now, but there are always some things to do and I go mad when realize that I don't cope with all I want to. Theoretically, however, I can advice you to plan everything beforehand and try to stick to your plan. think beforehand how much time it will all take and estimate your efficiency. Good luck to you!

Try to do it as much as possible in the school itself, particularly during free periods. Organise your time. If you feel that it is really too much you must talk to your teacher.
