I think it would be very arrogant of him to show up in the states if he was. What is it about him that looks the same as the hostage takers, The dark skin and hair.. I mean there are likely a thousand people in Iran that resemble him enough to maybe mistake him for someone else... We are talking like 30 years ago

it has been Shown that eye witness accounts in domestic cases are wrong about the perpetrator over 50 percent of the time and that is when the cases are still fresh , but a few of the hostages of 79 are saying the Iranian president was one of those hostage takers... Its a bit of a stretch but not in the realm of impossibility, but I think I would require more proof then an eye witness identification from a 30 year old case..

Due to the fact it was the only aggressive act perpetrated by the Iranians on another country in like 100 years I can at least say thousands of Americans didn't die because of it..They just had some time taken away. can you compair that to today ?

Several of the embassy workers taken hostage in 1979 have identified the president of Iran as one of the 'students' who captured the embassy. There are photos and videos which show a man who resembles the president and it is alleged that it is, in fact, him. However, experts have determined that the man in the photos and video is not Mr. Ahmadinijad (sp). Of course, not being in any of the photos is not proof he wasn't there.

Is it possible? Yes. Is it true he partook of that heinous crime...only Mr. Ahmadinijad knows for sure.
