Of course Iran can defend itself but Israel has no plans to attack Iran. Israel wants peace while Iran openly states that it seeks to destroy Israel. This is why they are seeking the bomb.

Iran is run by fanatics and supports terrorism. They're not the side to be backing.

Every nation has that right. Don't be silly.

With the way things are over there, every one has there own point of view. Most of which have no foundation in fact. Seems like everyone over there wants to say "we are only defending ourselves" (as they pop another cap)

How fast people CHOOSE to forget WHY Israel attacked Lebanon in the 80s

Israel invaded Lebanon in the '80s to stop attacks into Israel from Lebanon. They also saved thousands of Maronite Christians being slaughtered by blood thirsty Shi'a fundamentalists in southern Lebanon.

The rest of your "question" is just crap. Iran can defend itself all it likes but so can Israel and any attack will be much more devestating then the couple of days they spent shutting down Lebanon

Iran's president Ahmadirtbag was shouting in a public speech, "Death to Israel!" and is pursuing nuclear weapons.

Yes, they have a 'right' to defend themselves against attack, but in this case, Iran would be the aggressor because they are forcing Israel to act. Israel is too small to be able to sustain a nuclear attack - they would be pushed into a pre-emptive action based on the apparent nuclear insanity of Iran.

70 years ago, people, even Jews, pooh-poohed the anti-Semitic rantings of a young Austrian-born politician. That's not going to happen again.
