A pioneer! One of the most individual, unique, and creative forces in music in recent decades. There really is no one like her - although she could be said to have made Jane Siberry and Tori Amos possible...
It was a delight to see her re-emerge with her recent AERIAL album, which wasn't quite to the level of HOUNDS OF LOVE or SENSUAL WORLD but still has some wonderful moments on it. Who else could put songs about Elvis and washing machines on the same album, or spin an entire concept from a snippet of birdsong...?
(Myself, my favorite songs of hers include "The Big Sky," "Experiment IV," "Rocket's Tail," "Cloudbusting," and "Running Up That Hill"...)

I think of him as a man who tarnished the reputation of a once great Country .. Yeah sure you still have military might and lots of it, but the world doesn't look up to America anymore.. That is because you keep electing that idiot and I'm sure you will vote for Chaney if he doesn't keel over with a heart attack first. The corruption of this Government is second to none I'm sure. We will never ever know the full extent of it because The Bush files will be sealed for thousands of years ..
