All of you, ya'll, you all, youz guys, youins...all are saying the same thing. Ya'll is mostly spoken in the south. It is a slang word, a made up word that people on the East and West coasts and northern states think sounds funny. People that make fun of the way people from other areas speak, have a problem of their own. I enjoy hearing people from different areas and countries talk. If someone makes fun of your speech, they are not very polite people, so just ignore them. It takes all kinds of people to make this country of ours great, and you are just as good as the next person.

Y'all is a perfectly acceptable contraction of "you all", a casual reference to a group of people, most common south of the Mason-Dixon Line.

To Jessica Z and Michael Balls: I'm from Texas. We use the term all the time. You two are rude. We were raised to be more polite than I think you could ever be. Pity. Stay up north. They seem to be used to, if not welcoming of, that lack of courtesy.

Why do you say it if it gives you funny looks then? If you're trying to be funny when you say it, well it's not funny.

....you people make me sick...pick up a dictionary once in a while....take an english class....slang really pisses me off
what if I started saying Zoink instead of hello, smarm instead of how, skoo-skoo instead of are, and lastly Iddle istead of you.....
granted this is a far strech for day to dizzle, one day we might be greeting each other with
"Zoink, smarm skoo-skoo iddle?"
