Why wait ?????????? before long your kids will be grown and on their own and you will miss decorating with them so go ahead mom they are only kids once ....make them smile and have a great time smiling along with them

NOT! Halloween and all Holidays that bring your children to you so you can start decorating is a plus in my book. This is a great way to spend time and talk with them because more often than not they are off with their friends or games, or computers or, well, you get the picture. Start now and spend a few mins. once a week. By the time Halloween gets here the decorations will be up and you have created a month of memories that can never be replaced. Yum! How fun is that! Gotta enjoy it while it's here. I'm a Mom on her own now with my kids having kids. Miss the mess the noise and the time. Have fun and don't forget! Holidays are not just for the kids, Mom loves them just as much! She just forgot!

No, mine are already up. I figure if I have to unpack all the boxes and rearrange everything in the house to decorate, then I'm taking them out early so I can at least have them out for more than four weeks. It also helped that the kid's were at grandma's last weekend and I had plenty of time to do it without the kids digging through all the boxes.

No, I don't. Maybe compromise. Start decorating will a autumn motif, using leaves and brown and orange in your decorations. I think September is a fine time to decorate for Halloween. The stores are already selling the costumes.

I hate seeing Halloween decorations before October 1st, and I hate seeing Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving!!!

I am going to wait until October 1st. But I am really excited about it this year. I am making my sons costume this year. He is going to be Dale Earnhardt. Happy Halloween every one.

Hey if you get them up early you dont have to worry about doing it later. Let the kids help you out since they are so eager. Its also a good idea to let them take it down with you supervision of course.
