Iraq is written in English with a q because in Arabic it is written with a ق. English has no equivalent to this sound. Likewise, Arabic has no p sound so Pepsi is proununced and written Bebsi. When languages are pulled into another, the spellings, pronunciations, and meanings change. Its impossible to have 100% equal translation.
