it's funny when the MVP canidates of the American league can't play the field cause they are out of shape, or your pitchers only play 1/2 the game. why not play a game the way it was ment to be played where the pitcher actually bat. maybe then managers would do more then 3 lineup changes in a year. Oh and just so you know the Mets (who I dislike so much) would probably beat the A's, Red Sox, Tigers and Twins, in a heartbeat

the mets are soft, their ace pitcher cries in the dugout, and they will lose in the first round. They have not face adversity all year. They have not played one single meaningful game all year, so when they face their first challenge they will fold like a cheap suit. Sure they can hit, but they can't pitch for squat. If they had to play in the AL they would be barely over a .500 team,if that. It will all be revealed in the next few weeks when they go downin flames inthe first round.

The Mets have a great team but I agree, the AL is far superior overall. The fact that the Mets are in the NL East doesn't exactly hurt them very much, either.

Any of the National(Minor) League teams would suck in the Americal League. But I also think that if you take away the DH in the "AL" things may be more equal.

The Sox (and all the teams ahead of them) would finish ahead of the Mets if they were in the AL. And they're still the best team by far in the NL!

Definitely NOT, they put up big offensive numbers. I'd love to see how teams in the AL would do without their precious DH.

The Mets would be a formidable team if in the AL. With that bench, and the DH, ....wow...

as a yankee fan i think the mets would do good in the AL, but not if they were in the east or central

When they win the next five World Series in a row, then you might want to reconsider this question...
