you can coat as some of the others suggested, but if you live in an area where you have rain on a regular basis i would put a pitched roof over the present flat one. some roofing materials(depending where you live) will give you a dry future for about the same money that you will lay out in coating material. plus knowing the problem is solved for good is always better than a patch job.

I was talking to an expert on roofing and I asked the same question, I had been thinking of hot tar and the like.
He let me into a secret which is ALL flat roofs leak. the only roof that does'nt leak is butyl. Apparently you measure the roof very accurately and make a sketch, next you go to a fabricator of butyl roofs. He makes the roof in one piece in a factory, and when it is delivered you get the adhesive for sticking it on, and its supposed to be a straightforward job suitable for a DIY'er Good luck

There is a product called snow coat or white top or snow brite (a white rubber sealant) that will seal the roof. If you have a sagging area in the roof and it does not drain well, you need to get a pro out there, because sealing it won;t help.

Clean concrete well, dry and apply aluminized roof coating as directed on product can. Will seal all leaks and provide a silverized roof that reflects sun and heat. Good luck
