Mainly lack of self esteem and deep seated insecurity. You rarely will find a completely content and confident woman seeking implants unless they have lost a breast due to cancer or similar reason. Some women will do it to attract men, some will do it just so they can feel confident when they look in the mirror, others will do it in the hope that it will change their life in some amazing way. this is why the depression rate is so high for women that have had implants, because having them, does not live up to their expectation or change their life how they expected it to. HTH : )

I'm not sure because I'm not a woman, but I suppose it has a lot to do with the society and culture of the world (at least the United States) today. Women think that implants are attractive to men, and think that this will help them move up in the workforce because they're more beautiful than your average female. Basically, it's a misconception of a sex-crazed consumer world.

I think the Chappelle Show did a skit about this exact topic in the first season.

I don't agree with a lot said. I got my D implants because after. Child birth they sort of disappeared. I didn't do it cause I am a suicidal attention starved lunatic with depression....seriously people? What a lame generalization.
I just wanted my body back and to feel like a woman again. I wanted my boobs back! lol
I like boobs and there is nothing wrong with liking them. I enjoy my implants and yes others may too cause I notice the looks but I did it/them for me, super happy and would to change a thing.

Heyy. What's up? My name's Gwenivere, let me tell you a brief story about myself which I believe may be of some Hẹlp to you... Growing up, I was teased all throughout high-school. You know, I was that girl with the really small breasts that everyone liked to make fun of. I did not hit puberty until a little bit later on in my life. People used to say all kinds of mean things to me, refering to my breasts as "man-boobs", "mosquito bite titts", "flat-chested" ... it just went on and on. I even had one boyfriend that told me that he was ashamed to be seen with me in public. The ridicule never seemd to end. Because of this, I went through school being very self-conscious about my appearance and my ability to get boys to like me. Even after puberty, I never made it past an A cup.. so my negative self-image carried on into college. The emotional scars left by those mean girls (and boys) from HS never quite faded.

So, with that, I was determined to change my predicament. The thought of going through life feeling insecure about my body was unacceptable to me , especially during my college years. So what I did was a thorough, dedicated search. I scoured the web for answers. I spent several days and nights pouring through an endless amount of first-hand accounts and other personal experiences with various products and solutions. During this quest, I found precisely what I was seeking. It was a topical cream called "CurvyBust" @ https://curvybust.im .. The first bottle that they sent out was totally Frẹe, the only thing I had to do was pay for the S&H. This is the only reason I even tried it, normally I would be too skeptical to bother with something "too good to be true." All I can say is, unbelievable. I went up almost 2 cup sizes in just a matter of a couple months. You would not believe what this has done for my self-esteem and outlook on things. I almost feel like I have a new lease on life. There is nothing quite like feeling perfectly comfortable in your own skin again.

Take care! I hope you find the answers you are looking for <3

Excellent question!

ANSWER: For lack of confidence in one's own physical attributes and that by reason of paying too much attention to the media images one is confronted with daily.

I have worked very hard to present the best possible me from the materials I already have to hand. I see no need for undue artifice when one can simply utilize your good sense -if you still have any - and take advantage of tasteful clothing and cosmetics to enhance your appearance. The same unfortunate people who submit to needless plastic surgery are usually the same ones who feel compelled to buy ridiculously priced "designer" cosmetics and garments just to appease their inner turmoil about how they come across to the world. Designer isn't always the best way to go, although I do know that with some stuff, you really do get what you pay for (Revlon lipsticks come to mind, as well as toilet paper,no kidding ).

I think I'm pretty hot myself and that's from a black princess who has been through the "relaxed versus natural hair" business, the weaves, the pressure to lighten one's skin, and all of that mess. I no longer relax my hair and it's positively luscious now. In fact,to get an idea of my appearance, I made my avatar look as exactly as I appear in real life as I could achieve, with braids and very natural toned makeup. I feel that if you dislike your appearance so bitterly, then perhaps your problem is not so much with an external physical fault as much as an inner disquiet with your personal worth and a lack of self love.

I got a tad bustier when I finally allowed myself to put on a few needed pounds and voila, I was suddenly "well endowed" .This sort of physique needs to be kept up,but with proper diet, consistent daily exercise and disciplined skin/hair care, not with a scalpel, nor expensive elixirs.

People who go for the quick fix set themselves up for long term disappointment. Go the steady and sure way of a disciplined lifestyle for longterm good looks. And learn to develop a healthy sense of self love.Remember Jesus when He said to love your neighbor - as yourself. You can't give what you don't have ,you know!

Keep it real!

PS Someone mentioned that "most women's clothes are cut to fit a C cup " as a reason.Well it's easier to buy things that fit your general silhouette and have them fitted at a tailor's than to go under the knife. Gosh, I don't buy that one at all !!!
