Buddy....I've been there!
And in a way it's okay...yeah it still sucks, but remain a loyal freind and she may come to see what you have to offer. In any case, taking the high road is always best, the rest just brings grief and anger.

I know exactly what You mean, But from her point of veiw,my best guy friend just told me a few days ago that he had feelings for me,and i told him the same thing that she did"I only have feelings for you as a friend right now". Maybe shes in the same boat as I am, you see i only said that because even though i have the same feelings as he does, Im scared that i might ruin things between us as friends if and when we had broken up. I wouldnt wnat to ruin a prefetcly good friendship. Maybe thats what shes thinking?

Just try to be happy with being her friend... At least she's not leading you on or anything and it means she trusts your frienship is strong enough to withstand the blow... I've had friends who have led the person on for forever because they want to be friends with the guy or girl and it never turns out right... Try to be a friend and care for her as a friend

there is nothing that you can do but to remain 1 of her best friends.some girls find it hard to see their male best friends as boyfriends.
in my opinion,remain loyal to her and trust me,if you are both meant to be together,it will happen even without you realising it.
be patient and remain a good friend.
