Matt Millen deserves to be fired based upon the teams performance to this point. He probably has until the end of the year to show significant progress with new head coach Rod Marinelli. The Ford family is slow to make changes in the front office.

Long past time, in my opinion. He has had every opportunity to turn this team around, and has not done so. I am not a Lions fan, but my dad is; I feel sorry for him every year. Enough is enough, they need to give him the boot and try something new. They have fired about everyone else with no results- that only leaves him. They should have kept the coach and fired Millen last year. I think he is very bad at his job, and people who are very bad at their jobs get fired, and rightly so.

I've never seen a general manager perform so poorly for so long and still keep his job. He should have been fired years ago. He must have some incriminating pictures of the owner or something. He and the Lions franchise are a joke.

Yes he should go. Poor choice of head coaches. Poor draft selection. It proves that it is easy to talk the talk in the commentary booth but a lot more difficult to walk the walk in the front office. Hope he goes back to work for one of the networks though. He could be the new Madden.

He should be fired; he should have never been hired.
He got hired because he had the right complexion to have the right connection.
