Wow! They beat The Tigers 12 of 19 games during the season series, and still they are 6 games out of first place!
Is that pretty pathetic when you beat The Detroit Tigers 12 times, but still cant make the playoffs???

The Tigers are 11-8 against The Twins.
If tied The Tigers would be Division winners.
The Tigers are going to the playoffs, and after the last 15 years let me tell you I am geeked!
Anything after that is simply icing on the cake!
If they lose the divisonal series I'd still be happy!
Of course I'd like to go all the way, but so what if they dont? They have had their best season since 1987! For that I am grateful!

If they are that bad, then how could YOUR Tigers lose 12 from them??
I do follow the White Sox, though I will say I am beyond the stage in my life where I consider myself a fan of any team...But the Tigers are having - or at least in the first half - a season where they are playing at their highest level, much like the White Sox last year. The White Sox, I believe, play up to their talent level. They would still have a shot - even thoug they are still alive, I think they are dead - if the Twins did not have a crazy good second half and the Tigers didn't have a historic first half.

I would not advertise that my team went 7-12 against the White Sox, if the Tigers were my team. How did the Tigers do against the Twins, because that would be the tie breaker if they finish in a tie to determine who gets the division and who gets the wild card.

They're inconsistent. But they're bad enough to win probably 90 games this season.
Will we be saying how bad are the Tigers when they lose in the ALDS?
Funny, Georgie, but it seems you should be looking ahead instead of behind, yet you consistently focus on the White Sox. You should be worrying more about the Yankees.

Dude the Tiger's haven't done anything so far except for the fact that they have demonstrated how to blow a huge division lead with poor second half play. So let's see if they do anything in the post-season. It doesn't look like they will.

they are really not that bad, just that the pitching has not what it was last year! Then the bats are still very good if not better, defense on the field has not been as consistent as it was last year. If they even get close enough to be in the playoffs, watch out!!
