Listen, your body will give birth when its good and ready. My daughter was 2 weeks late and I tried stupid methods (because that is what they are). THey come when they come, just sit back and relax the time you have without all the heticness that will come.

Good Luck :-)

NO, don't do that. Whaddya want, the runs, too?
This worked with my wife: Go out for a relaxed spaghetti dinner - no need to get stuffed - and then go shopping at a mall. Just walk around, maybe buy some stuff. My wife's labor started within two hours of getting home.
If nothing else, you'll have a nice meal and some new things.

I'm sorry I've never heard of using Castor Oil with labor.

My doctor had recommended doing a lot of walking. Start walking a round the block, thru a mall. Something to get the baby to move.

But with anything, you should call your OBGYN for some secure recommendations.

Best of luck.

go to the mall and walk around for a few hours....im not sure if having sex helps because im 38 weeks, and we've had LOTS of sex and im STILL pregnant. but walking will drop your baby and help you go into labor. i havent heard anything about that castor oil stuff and i wouldnt try it. BUT go ahead, make love to hubby, just for fun, and see what happens! I mean it wouldnt hurt anything, lol.

Your baby will come when he/she is ready to come. I was late with all 3 of my children and was 4 centimeters dialated for several weeks before my due date. I suggest you walk, walk, walk and have sex! My doc told me that semen can help. Whatever, I was willing to try anything! Also, try doing things to keep your mind off of labor. Go to the mall and walk around...will give you exercise which might help and will also take your mind off of things, a bit. As far as the oil goes....I was told by my doc to never do any such thing.

Best wishes!

Castor oil can be dangerous. Do lots of research before you try anything like that.

Try walking, jogging, sex, mild work outs, or any physical activity. The more you move the more baby will move.

I have had three children, none of them where the same when time to give birth, my last baby which was 5 yrs. ago, was similar to yours, she did not want to come out, she was late, I recommend having the doctor induce your labor, give you a medication they call the drip, this causes contractions to speed up and you will dialate within minutes, and it will all be over with.

Just go into triage and say you were having contractions that were 2 minutes apart since you woke up this morning. Say that you want to be checked out. If you're lucky they'll keep you.
