There are much better times in the year to come to Miami. August is probably the most economical time of the year to come. August is the hottest time of the year. It's absolutely spectacular in February and March.

"oooiiiiiii IT'S sooooooooOOOOO HUMID!!! "
I was Born and raised in Miami Beach and even I do not like August in Miami. You can sweat a pint just walking to you car. There IS always somewhat of a breeze.Expect highs in the mid 90's,with @ 80% humidity,Tanning index 10 out of a 10 and a 70% chance of an afternoon Thunder boomer.

It gets really, really hot in August. I would suggest going around May. Or around October. It's still warm, but you won't be baking or sweaty.
