It depends on who your previous internet provider was. If you had an MSN.COM or HOTMAIL.COM, or YAHOO.COM email account you can still use any of these with whomever you choose for DSL.

If you are still keeping the same company. I had alltel and switched to dsl, they automatically used my original email. If you are moving from say AOL to Windstream (alltel new name) then you pretty much have to hope the name is not taken but the email addy will change cause it is a new company

It depends on which company you are using...If you have a free website like hotmail or yahoo and you are getting it from them, then you will have no problem retaining your current email...it will just merge with the new one...To be on the safe side, talk with the company you choose before you purchase and see if they have the function to allow you to keep or merge your accounts...Hope this helps...T

Depends what kind of email you are talking about. If your new service is with another ISP..you cannot...unless it is generic such as yahoo, gmail, hotmail ect ect.

If you use something like Yahoo mail, I know that SBC switched over my yahoo mail account fairly painlessly.

Keep it as long as you want. Just go to the website of your email provider and logon as usual.
