Well unfortunately there really isn't any other way to move it. Hopefully they are using routes that are as thinly populated as possible, and they are taking all necessary precautions to ensure that safety is the primary concern. It is a little scary to think that an accident could introduce nuclear waste into local water supplies, or become exposed to our families, but since nuclear and other toxic wastes are the inevitable bi-products of our daily living, there isn't much else we can do, but to try to find a safe, efficent way to transport, and dispose of it.

What the **** else are they going to do with it. YOu cant leave it where it is forever. They spent millions and millions and millions of tax dollars building this facility in nevada to dispose of the nuclear waste that is piling up at the nuclear power facilities and now all these whiny bitches are worried that something might happen and that there would be some mishap during transportation. Do you have any idea the safety protocols that are in place for transporting that ****, pretty stringent ****. I think it is definitely a good idea to get that **** moving.

How else are they going to transport it?
I mean I think there are alot of things wrong with the way they are doing and how much security is involved etc. I just do not see how they are going to move the waste with out going into someone's town. Ya know.

I agree with Elayne. How else are they going to do it? I don't know a lot about this, but I'm sure they take precautions. I would rather them drive it through my town than dump it in my river or lake in the middle of the night.

How about we use tranporters from star trek. Think about a question before you ask it - you'll sound smarter that way.
