I just gave Sprint another hunk of my paycheck. I did not get any extras- not one minute of web, not one extra ringtone, not one minute over. Are Tracfones reliable? Do they have wide coverage areas? If you have had experience with them, I appreciate your feedback.

TracFones will get service pretty much anywhere, I've found. Have one for that purpose. But I've found the quality and constant sales calls harassing. Don't give them your home or work numbers EVER. I also have Sprint and its almost gotten thrown out into the New England woods on more than one occasion.

NO!! Tracfones eat the minutes up so quickly. You will end up spending a lot on renewing your minutes. Plus if you let your phone expire you have to pay another start up fee. Keep your Sprint plan...or move to another supplier. Just ask for the best deal. Maybe the plan you are on should be modified.

A tin can with string has wider coverage than Tracfone.

Just get a different service provider. You don't have to get a Tracfone. I love my T-Mobile.
