Research has provided some evidence that excessively homophobic males are actually more aroused by gay pornography than non-homophobic heterosexual males. So I believe the answer to your question is denial and a fear of one’s own feelings. I truly believe that men who are secure about their own sexuality have no need to hate or alienate anyone who has a different sexual orientation than them. You seem to fit into that group of real men, perfectly.

If you are thaty concerned about which stranger is marrying which stranger, then you need to get a life. Get over it people and stop mendling into other people's affairs. You have just too much free time on your hand. Go and do something more constructive like playing with your kids, helping them with their homeworks, or even teaching them to more ACCEPTING AND TOLERANT of other people.

i'm hetero. but also NOT a homophobe. however i did do some studying, and have come to the colclusion that homophobia is out there. it REALLY does exist. but my conclusion was also this...
it seems to be easier to find a homophobic than a homosexual. so really, which is more "normal"?

This reminds me of a book report I once did about "Sexual Pshycosis" by Dr.Zeigmond Frued.It goes something like this:
1-The ego has feelings of inferiority.
2-the Id tries to counteract it.
3-The disharmony between the two is "insanity".
4-the Id tries to overcompensate for the ego's problems.
Something like that.

Tell me one thing I have in freedom that you do not have. We have the exact same rights so tell me who wants to impose something on someone. It is the gay community trying to impose their beliefs on me. Stop trying to shove gay marriage down our throats.
You can marry any woman I can and I can't marry any guy you can't. It is equal. Move on already and live happily with one another.
