Give him your sincere apologies and then wait for him to work it through on his own. Be a friend from a distance for the time being, hard as that may be - these things can't be rushed or forced, and it will also give you time to reflect on whether this is really what YOU want. Breaking up with someone who upsets us (though I don't know the details) seems harsh, and so final. His behavior does give you some important information about him (i.e., boundaries, ability to forgive mistakes) and your relationship, though. If you do get back together, you'll need to work on ways to communicate and work through problems in less severe - and final! - ways. An indiscretion doesn't have to mean the end when mature people are involved and want things to work. Wishing you the best!

So.. let me get this straight. You broke the confidence of your b/f by telling someone else something he told you trusting you would not tell anyone else. I guess I'm assuming that this something he told you wasn't illeagle or anything like that.
You broke his trust in you and as a result he broke up with you.
You need to ask yourself how would you feel if it had happened to you?
Would you trust someone again knowing that they broke it so easily?
I think this relationship is over. You need to learn from this and then not make the same mistake in the future.

I would say he is hurting because you broke his trust in you...by telling others about his business...It will take a long time to rebuild that trust, but if you really love him, you can do it...go to it girl..and good luck..

Does it matter what anyone else tells you to do? you know you'll kiss his behind, and beg for forgiveness. if that doesn't work, OH WELL theres plenty of other fish in the sea. maybe even some that aren't such moody little bitches.

You need to just give him some time to think about it. Don't go bothering him and telling him you want him back, that will only annoy him. Whatever you do, don't go telling your friends about it.
