because their faces are plastered all over everything and people always say how beautiful they are. i agree with you though, if i saw one of these people in the mall or on the street, i would think they were average looking. it's the help of their "magic" makeup artists and computer tricks that make them "beautiful"

Its the glamour, lighting, makeup, and clothes. If I had those makeup artists and great designers, I would be beautiful too. But I have seen those candid shots where the celebrities get thier pictures taken without makeup and whoo are they homely.

I never got that either.
Some of my pics who are overrated.
1. Cameron Diaz wow I lost my as s oh sorry (seat) in the last election.
2. Renee Zelwagger more botox please
3. Luke Wilson fix that nose already!
4. Bionce ...please She is always screaming!
5. Michelle Williams...(stuups)..Kelly Roland ROCKS bY THE WAY.
6. Kate Hudson....girl get a boob job or cover up.
7. Sharon Stone.....yeah right.

Everyone has a different view of who is beautiful and who is not. Most celebs when they are shown they have the best makeup artist, the best hair stylist. Personal preference determines who we think is hot or not also.
