Yes I wonder if my life would be different if I was still with my first love. But I try not to think about it because it's not like I can go back in the past and change things.

I am so glad I am not with my first love. It broke my heart for two years when he dumped me, but I would never take him back now. (Which is good I guess, because he just got married.) But, I will always feel like we had a special connection.

OMG, I'm so glad we're not together. My life would suck, because he's unemployed and working temp jobs (which are few and far between according to his mother, who I still talk to occasionally). So I'd be supporting him while he sat at home and screwed around on the computer and watched TV and ate all day.

No, but every time I see him I have butterflies in my stomach. He's a great guy and really handsome, but we were together a long time ago, we were both silly teenagers.
Now I'm happy with the relationship I have, and I think I would never have a second chance with my first love, it's been a long long time.

Yes, I wish I were still with my first love, who is also my ex-wife and mother of my children - but realistically it couldn't work out no matter how I tried - and even if I'm not better off without her, she is better off without me, so out of love for her I can't really push the issue too much.
