Unfortunately, there aren't any "cures." The best thing you can do is control it until your normal hormonal development gets to a point that it clears up by itself.

I had bad acne when I was a teenager and still have scars from it on my face. There wasn't much you could do about it then. There are more options today.

But use a little common sense and do your homework to decide what will be best for you.

A lot of the acne treatments you see advertised are scams that don't work. You'll spend your money and waste your time for no results.

There is a prescription drug called Accutane that permanently cures some types of acne. Unfortunately it has pretty bad side effects, in particular it causes severe birth defects when used by pregnant women. It is taken in a 6 week program during which you will have severly dry skin but then your oil ducts will be permently skrunk and far less prone to acne.

My sister took it and said it was the best thing she ever did.

- I don't mean to sound like a commercial here, but since I've started using Proactiv, I have no blackheads & I get maybe 1 pimple a month. I used to have acne baaaad. I love it. Also try BC Pills if you are a girl. Proactiv is for both men & women. It's expensive but I was spending much more buying stuff that didn't work.

Mate, try Witch Stick from Boots etc. It's like a push-pop but tastes disgusting! Actually, don't eat it - smear it liberally on the spot and within 24 hrs it's either gone or going!

i suggest you go to a skin centre. see a specialise. He will most probably prescribe you some m-cyin creams and perhaps some oral medications.

at the meantime, keep your face clean and fresh.

use a facial blotters to remove oil.

DO NOT wash your face with facial foam nor any other soaps more than 3 times a days. It will only produces more oil.
