Personally it depends on your parents, if they allow you to wear makeup or not. I think a girl should start wearing makeup when she can apply it correctly because trust me there are many tips and trick. Some can make you look naturally beautiful and some can make you look, like you said like a tramp.
If you can wear makeup. Go for the natural look don't wear the bright bold colors and instead of lipstick just wear gloss. Ask your mom to help you i'm sure she'll be happy for some mother-daughter time. Good luck and remember go for the natural look.

i started wearing make up at 10 and i still do(im 13) but i dont put heaps on - thats when you look like a tramp. You should just apply it lightly and not over do it.

You really should get your mother's consent.

That said, you should keep to translucent powder or bronzer, lipgloss that is very close to your natural lip color, french manicure shades for your nails and clear mascara. With these shades your mistakes while learning to apply makeup won't be too evident. Always keep your face and the tools you use to apply makeup to it scrupuously clean

Please run from colored mascaras, eyeshadows or brightly colored lipsticks until you are at least into your twenties. If you overdo things now you will defintiely look like a tramp.

Keep it real!

You wear make-up when you have flaws. Do you have any flaws like zits or blotchy skin? If you do then maybe you could get some tinted moisturizer and a healing concealer stick to even out your skin. Then all you need is some lip gloss and you are good to go. Don't wear to much make-up at that age, because trust me...when you get older you will get tired of it.

ok if thats the case then just wear a little eye shadow and lip gloss. make sure the lip gloss is not to dark. and wearing makeup doesn't make you a tramp, its what you do wen developing that different mentality after getting use to the makeup

My daughter is 13 and is allowed to wear lip gloss and foundation. She has a few zits so has been have learning to to wash her face really good. She has not been wearing any make up but still has been taking care of her face by washing it. Once in a while the lip gloss goes back on but that is it and that is fine with me.

I wasn't able to wear makeup till I was 16- and it really saved my skin. Once you start adding makeup in the mix it could cause breakouts. If you want to try makeup - a tinted moisturizer maybe a good solution and it isn't heavy or made up looking.

well you dont have to, thats not what makeups about.
Wear some light powerd on your face, then get some eyeshadow, light cool colors and maybe some mascara, stay away from eyeliner right now.
Then also add some lip gloss tp finish it off!

of course ask your mom for permission. I couldnt wear make up until i was in 8th grade. If i did wear any before then it had to be light and natural colors. You should keep it simple and natural looking otherwise you might look like you are "trying too hard". your young so enjoy it!

I was not allowed to wear make up til I was around 15. And then I just wore mascara and lip gloss, at that age your skin should be fresh enough not to need foundation.
