Ok!! I am trying to email a big file (23MB) to some people. I have Yahoo, MSN, Outlook, and Outlook Express... I can't make any of these send a file out that is bigger than 10 MB, does anyone know of somewhere else I can send it though. I really need to send this, and this is the first time I have tried to send something this big. HELP!!!

do some google searching for winzip and download it. Some places want you to pay for it, but you can get it free. If your having a heard time finding a free ver. download somthing like Limewire or something. It is a file sharing program and then download winzip through there. With winzip you can zip your file to make it smaller. Just like if you crush a papper into a little ball it's much smaller, but all the info is still there.
Also try getting yahoo messenger. I believe a simpler way could even be when talking with that person, you can choose to send a file and have them accept it. And give it to them that way. Might take a while, but think it will work just fine. Good luck =)

You need to upgrade your account. Most email companies have a pay per year or a pay per month option that lets you do more with your account. Find one that lets you email larger files.

MSN Hotmail > Options (right of screen at top) > Upgrade
$19.95/year gives you a 20 mb limit, $9.95/month gives you a 20+ Mb limit.

I recommend that you go to Lycos.com instead. They have a free email service and if you upgrade to the only $5.95 /year version you can send unlimited sized attachments.

Have you tried to zip the file or have you tried to cut it into pieces?

YES--I have a solution. You can upload your file to the internet, and then your friends can download it themselves. Here's how:

Go to Yahoo briefcase:
http://briefcase.yahoo.com
This is Yahoo's personal online storage site. A free Yahoo account will only let you store 30MB, but that will be sufficient for your need. Upload the file to Briefcase, and then change the folder ('My Documents' or whatever other folder) to have privacy settings of "Public". Then give the web address (briefcase.yahoo.com/[your yahoo ID here]) to all the people who need the file, and they can download it.

Try compressing (or zipping) the file using WinZip. You can get a free version at:
http://www.winzip.com/

And the recipients can unzip the file using WinZip.
