yahoo ids for kids is a bad idea. Im an adult and I get unwanted unsolicited creepy IMs from rejects all over.
Id be afraid for my kids to have a yahoo ID. thats a welcome mat for a predator.

You can get free email accounts from yahoo google and msn.
I suggest u get yahoo you can set parental controls from the options tab and if you get yahoo plus it allows even more control as well as thier own names as addresses.

Here is the web address of the email we use for our kids. It costs you $4 dollars a month. They can take it from your account automatically I think.
