No - it's politics as usual. They can see how angry Americans are - that we feel attacked, all of us, by his words. They know that if they don't say something it could back fire in the next weeks. Besides - they have said similiar things about Bush themselves - calling him Hitler - stupid - etc. They want to appear above this type of thing - but they are the ones that got the Bush bashing started after 9-11 because they realized that people were rallying behind him as a war time President - and they couldn't have that!

They have no plan for anything - it's been 6 years of Bush sucks because x, y, and z. They are worthless.

Look at what they said about Rove compared to Chavez.

They are just name calling and any self respecting Republican has also been the target of name calling from liberals. No big deal from them...and nothing new.

I'm a D, was happy to see them step up. We need to unite for awhile and maybe this will help some.

EDWARD--Hillary is not a radical. Have you bothered to pay attention for the past 6 years? Seriously.

Yes, I made an earlier post about it. It's really worrisome that the Republicans are ignoring the whole thing.

It put me in shock, once I realized that a Democrat had actually supported a Republican in any way, shape, or form. Totally out of character! It was nice to hear, but I wouldn't expect lightning to strike twice.

No, there were only two of them, and they aren't sincere. They feel the same way about Bush as Hugo Chavez does, but they know if people figure that out that, it's doom for the Dems in November.

we don't want to get 'used to this'

We're to the point now where if Republicans like you applaud the Democrats, that the Democrats are clearly doing something wrong.
