I can kick his a ss if I want and we wrestle so he knows... so he would never try me like that. I feel strongly about wife beaters and if it ever happened that would be the END.

I am not physically capable of protecting myself or taking my husband on if he hits me. He has never hit me and I highly doubt he would. If the situation were to occur, I would be calling the police and filing a divorce as soon as humanly possible.
Besides my husband and I know how to have a real mature, adult conversation without yelling and swearing at each other. We agree to disagree and always compromise. We are adults and we are sharing a life together. We respect each other as well.

Wives: if this something you have to worry about, you're in a bad situation. My husband is very much more powerful than me, but he would never use his strength to hurt me. I never have to worry about that. No man has the right to hit his wife or any woman for that matter, and no woman has the right to hit a man.
Physical abuse never makes the situation any better.

I think I could probably give him a run for his money, however, if the scenrio ever came up, I guarantee I would not let it happen again, I would be out of the relationship, I am to strong of a person to put up with that. And the way I see it a man that hits a woman is really not a man, it just shows hes not man enough to hit another man, he needs to strike at someone who he sees as being weaker.

My husband is very strong and would win if we ever got into a physical altercation but ............... revenge would be mine. He would be left wishing I had kicked his butt instead!
One time he picked on me about a shade of pink nail polish I was wearing. It was hurtful so I waited 6 months. The night before we left for the beach, while he was sleeping, I painted his toe nails emerald green. I poured all the nail polish remover down the kitchen sink. He ended up trying to scrape it off with his pocket knife at 4:00 on the morning.
Men may be physically stronger but women are more devious.

Oooh, LORD have mercy. I shudder to think. My Dad says that it is in me to whoop anybody's butt. As long as there is no deadly weapon being held against my body, you hit me and there is going to be a banshee released inside. At least I hope. Size wouldn't matter, I'd be tricky. My husband knows Tae Kwan Do, but I happen to know "Kra Zee." Thank God he'd never hurt me, though. Thank God. I hit back the man that hit me before. Shock always helps a bastard return to reality, in my opinion. Some people are insane, though. Be careful ladies and I'm always praying for the abused, hurt and neglected. God Bless.

Ladies this may sound lame but please do not ever consider getting physical with your husband evade the situation as best you can and address the situation by leaving him. For those of you that think you stand a chance the great majority of you are kidding yourself. Hell if a guy 100 pounds heavier than me wanted to kick my *** i'd certainly try to come up with a better idea than letting him kick my ***.

My husband is definitely stronger than myself, and I like it that way. He doesn't believe in physical or verbal abuse. My first husband took our marriage vows as death do us part to heart, and thought he'd rush the process. From that marriage I came out with post traumatic stress disorder(which I'm still being treated for)Needless to say I divorced his *** after 2yrs.I emerged from that marriage, not being able to have children, after suffering two miscarriages from being beaten so bad.The second marriage I got myself into,he made the big mistake of teaching me how to shoot, and we participated in shooting events.Unfortunately for him I was a better shot. After one such event, he felt I embarrassed him,and slugged me in the face.I got my favorite .45 and blew his rt.knee to pieces, then called 911.He not only has a very bad limp, but was arrested for domestic battery, and I got off with self defense.I went to counseling so I wouldn't hook up with another abuser, and 10yrs.Later I met my present husband. We've been together 8yrs.and just got married last year.He has never once said a mean word to me,and certainly would never dream of hitting me.So I finally got rid of the scum, and found a REAL MAN. Thanks for asking.

my husband could beat the day lights out of me. i am very weak (but i believe in using an equalize when my backs against the wall). he and i have never passed licks and we never will. I don't mouth off at my husband, so I never deserve a smack (like some women do). Whatever he says goes and that's fine with me. he's a good man.

No, physically he could take me down in one punch. Psychologically, however, is a whole other story. As so many other posters have stated so eloquently - they all have to sleep sometime........
My first husband roughed me up once and I left him the next day. If they'll harm you once, they'll do it again. I divorced him soon after and haven't seen him since 1978.
